The Ruff Ranch 740
Hi, I’m Lindsay Daniels, the proud owner of The Ruff Ranch 740. I am a wife, mother of 2 boys (Jayce, 15 and Dayne, 13) and a HUGE dog lover. I worked for Muskingum County for 20 years and as life changed, I decided that there was nothing more important than happiness and living your dreams, so with the hard work of my husband, Jarret, we banded together and created The Ruff Ranch 740.
As we built this amazing facility, we kept in mind what exactly we would want for our own dogs and the people watching them. We opened in April 2023 and couldn’t be happier!
I am so thankful for my amazing clients/friends that have trusted me and my amazing team with their fur kids and I’m excited to grow this business with you!

Meet Our Team
- Chelsey Hello! I am Chelsey Daniels, an employee of the happiest place on Earth. Majority of my time working at the kennel is through the Summer. I spend the other part of my year as an Intervention Specialist at Maysville Elementary with grades Kindergarten-2nd. My husband and I have 2 girls (Avery 14, Dayton 6). Avery is a huge help at the kennel and is often my right hand man when we are packed full in the Summer season. We have a French Bulldog named Phoebe who is pretty much a human in our eyes. In my free time I enjoy reading, vacationing, spending time with friends & family, and possibly binging a good Netflix series from time to time.
- Kayla Hi! I’m Kayla! I spend the majority of my Sunday’s loving, playing and cuddling your fur babies at The Ruff Ranch 740. When I’m not throwing balls or playing tug of war with your babies, I’m at home with my own spoiled dog named Herbie. During the week, I am a Branch Manager at a local bank where I’ve worked for over 20 years. When I’m not working, I am the taxi driver and biggest supporter of my 14 year old son, Kade, who participates in multiple sports and activities. I love spending time with my bonus kids and grandbabies, nieces and nephews and friends. If I get a chance to relax, you can find me reading a book or scrolling tik tok for the next best recipe or life hack. Working at the Ruff Ranch 740 has brought me more joy than I thought possible. I can say with complete confidence there is no better place for them to be. Thank you for sharing your pups with us!
- Kiah Hello! I am Kiah Wallace, an employee here at the Ruff Ranch! When I am not working at the kennel I’m working at We Lov Pets! I have a therapy dog named Remi who I take to nursing homes, schools, and women/children shelters. I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to car shows, dog training, and love working on my aquarium.
- Kiowa Hi! I’m Kiowa. I am going to OUZ to study early childhood education, I enjoy reading, studying art and sports. My favorite color is purple. I also love spending time with my animals and my family. I love dogs because of all their different personalities and how they can just brighten your day with just a tail wag!
- Sydney and Liam Meet the Saturday duo Sydney and Liam! Holding their pups Sawyer and Hazel. Sydney and Liam enjoy working out, watching/playing sports, and traveling. In their free time they enjoy spending time with family and fury friends. Sawyer and Hazel love to run, swim, and play fetch. They seem to always have the “zoomies.”
- Tara Hello, I’m Tara Archer! I absolutely love working at the Ruff Ranch. My husband Doug and I have 3 children, Walker 14, Ryder 12, and Myles 4. I have 2 dogs, Hank an English Bulldog and Poundcakes a Pug. While at the Ruff Ranch you can sometimes find a little red head (Myles) following me around. When she is with me we love giving dogs treats, baths, cuddles, and carrying them around. If I’m not at the Ruff Ranch I’m usually at one of my kid’s football games, baseball games, wrestling matches, or cheer competitions. I enjoy beach vacations, seeing new places, and visiting museums. My favorite part about working at the Ruff Ranch,besides spending my day with cute dogs, is helping my best friend with her dream making the Ruff Ranch a truly wonderful place to bring your fur babies.
- Amanda Amanda is from the Zanesville area and a graduate from Philo High School. She has two kids, Madisyn and Isayah which occupy most of her free time, but she also enjoys painting, drawing, and practicing the guitar. She is an avid animal lover and has 4 dogs and a dwarf rabbit. Amanda is looking forward to joining the team and taking care of your pets just like her own.
